NSDA:
VICTORY THROUGH PERSEVERANCE
Since its founding 12 years ago, DIAR sought the support and accreditation of the National Speech and Debate Association, NSDA. This has allowed a large number of Dominicans to open doors to university and professional opportunities.

WHAT IS NSDA?
Leading international platform for school debate, which builds a record for its members who compete in argumentation events, giving them the opportunity to receive internationally recognized awards.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The tournaments that DIAR organizes and promotes are accredited by the NSDA. This allows students who are NSDA members to receive points when they compete and, over time, earn different degrees or distinctions.

RESULTS THAT ENDURE
In addition to the seals they receive when they earn a new degree, a student may apply for the “Academic All American Award.” Upon completing high school, the student may receive an “Honor Cord for Graduation,” which is placed on them during their graduation ceremony.

SOME FACTS
Being a member of the NSDA creates a significant impact on standardized testing, the college search process, skills development, and the character formation of each young person.
